International Payroll Specialist

About the Team
The International Payroll team at Nutanix is a dynamic and diverse group located in the Netherlands and India, comprised of professionals from various nationalities. The team fosters a fun and open-minded culture, characterized by collaboration and a strong commitment to excellence in payroll processing. Their mission is to efficiently manage international payroll duties while ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple countries, thereby supporting the broader organizational goals of the company during its expansion.
You will report to the International Payroll Manager, who adopts a supportive and collaborative leadership style, encouraging team members to communicate openly and embrace flexibility in their roles. The work setup for this role is hybrid, with a requirement to work in the office 2 days a week, which may potentially increase to 3 days a week.
This role does not require any travel, allowing you to focus entirely on managing payroll responsibilities from the office and remotely as needed.
Your Role
- Process payroll cycles from end to end on a monthly basis for assigned countries based on payroll deadlines.
- Handle payroll payments for assigned countries.
- Perform payroll accounting tasks and conduct payroll reconciliations.
- Respond to employee queries through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and meeting agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Liaise with various stakeholders to gather necessary payroll information and provide requested information in a timely manner.
- Involve in small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in international payroll.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Basic accounting skills for payroll-related tasks.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
- Experience with systems such as Workday, NetSuite, and ServiceNow is advantageous.
