Sales Development is one of the most critical processes an organization can build to deliver a consistent, seamless, and efficient revenue machine. Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for future-motivated Sales Development Representatives (SDR) who will play a pivotal role in the pipeline generation. Someone who is organized and can manage many demands of the job. Part of the responsibility will be following up on marketing leads and working with field teams to target whitespace accounts, a critical part of the company’s continued growth. Multiple communication avenues will include calling, LinkedIn messages, emails, videos, etc.  
 
The most successful SDRs seek out opportunities by building rapport with prospects, taking the time to understand the customer environment, and educating them on our solution to facilitate closing deals. 
Sales Development At Nutanix 
We have a team of Sales Development Representatives covering several countries across the region who you will be working alongside. We also have comprehensive training that will kick-start your career here at Nutanix. We don’t stop there; you will have ongoing training to help you develop your skills in all sales areas and prepare you for your next step at Nutanix!  
  
Your Role 
  • Identify and nurture potential new business opportunities for sales to grow the pipeline through inbound and outbound initiatives and schedule first-call meetings with prospects for the field sales reps.
  • Follow up on all leads generated through marketing campaigns to ensure timely response to potential customers. Provide ongoing feedback to marketing to help improve targeting and lead quality.
  • Maintain a high daily activity level through calls, connections, and emails and utilize various prospecting tools to uncover relevant prospects to target.
  • Work cross-functionally with field sales, channel, and marketing teams to deliver meetings and qualified opportunities and build new target account lists for sales-led campaigns.
  • Execute outbound sales-led campaigns to drive new business acquisition for the assigned territory.  
What You Will Bring 
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience preferred
  • 2+ years of solution sales experience in software or IT products or services preferred
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in business, communications, marketing, or a technical discipline
  • Knowledge of Virtualization, Storage, and cloud computing marketplaces preferred
  • A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and with diverse end-user audiences.
  • Tenacious and energetic with a good work ethic and interest in selling
  • Must be able to find, assess, and prioritize sales opportunities effectively.
  • Proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and rapidly prioritize and adapt to changing initiatives.
  • Fascinated by technology and passionate about selling ground-breaking ideas and products.
  • Willingness to learn, be coached and implement new sales techniques.
