This is a 12-week paid internship working a minimum of 3 days per week from our Durham, NC office. The internship will start in May or June 2026, depending on your availability.

About the Team

At Nutanix, you'll be joining the Support Analytics & Operations team, a dynamic group of talented professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to our customers. Our team culture is built on collaboration and positivity, fostering an environment where everyone’s input is valued and encouraged, allowing us to continuously improve and innovate in our approach to customer support.

You will report to the Manager, Support Analytics and Operations, who is committed to guiding the team towards success through mentorship and clear communication. Our work setup is hybrid, requiring you to come into the office three days a week, providing a balanced blend of in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility. Additionally, there are no travel requirements for this position, allowing you to focus on providing outstanding support without the need for frequent travel.


Your Role

  • Perform ongoing and ad-hoc analysis in support of leadership questions and challenges facing the business
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of Tableau dashboards which allow stakeholders to quickly identify favorable and unfavorable trends in the business, the root cause of those trends and a clear path of action
  • Lead the creation of a statistically driven forecast model to assist management in workforce planning efforts

What You Will Bring

 

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa status, such as F1, H1B, or TN.
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's in Business (Finance, Economics, Analytics) or a related field (Statistics, Operations Management)
  • Understanding of data structure and tools for analyzing data (R, Python, SQL)
  • Experience developing reporting in Tableau and an interest in using data to tell a meaningful story
  • Logical thinking and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with Jira and Salesforce is highly preferred, but not required

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. Workplace type may vary based on location and team requirements. Please speak with your recruiter for details. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.


The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 24 and USD $ 31 per hour.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
