About the Team

At Nutanix, our Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance team consists of 20 skilled professionals spread across the globe. You will report to the Director of Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office three days a week. We believe this balance helps foster collaboration while maintaining flexibility for our team members to work remotely as needed. Additionally, there are no travel requirements for this position, allowing you to focus on your projects and contribute to our team's success without the need for frequent travel commitments.


Your Role

  • Lead cross-functional program management initiatives within the Security Program, driving alignment with corporate objectives and compliance standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for cybersecurity, ensuring integration of security best practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate collaboration among the CISO, CPSO, and tech leadership teams to enhance cybersecurity strategy and operational maturity.
  • Establish and manage key program deliverables, including stakeholder communications, risk assessments, and PMO dashboards to ensure project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying gaps in existing processes and recommending innovative solutions to enhance security program efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, R&D, and Engineering leaders to influence decision-making and align security initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the program management team.
  • Achieve key objectives within the first year, including the successful migration of global services onto new platforms and enhanced training programs for staff.

What You Will Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Project/Program Management with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in compliance frameworks and security functions such as IAM, PAM, and Zero Trust.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and manage complex projects successfully.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the capacity to motivate and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach to driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for qualitative and quantitative assessments and decision-making.
  • Advanced education (Ph.D., MBA, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.


The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 147,200 and USD $ 294,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
