The Opportunity
This is a high-visibility opportunity to join Nutanix's Unified Storage Group as the Senior Director, Product Management for Nutanix Data Lens (NDL). In this role, you’ll lead strategic product innovation and development of next-generation data management, security, and compliance solutions. You will architect and guide the evolution of critical security features including ransomware protection, data classification, and anomaly detection. Your Role
- Lead architecture, design, and innovation of critical data security solutions including ransomware protection, data classification, and anomaly detection for Nutanix Data Lens.
- Collaborate directly with product management, customers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, customer-driven security products and features.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and accelerating development processes to enhance product performance and market readiness.
- Engage cross-functionally to ensure alignment with broader Nutanix product ecosystems and drive a strategic roadmap for unified HCI-wide data security solutions.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 12+ years of proven experience in product engineering and architecture, specifically within data security domains (ransomware protection, data classification, anomaly detection).
- Demonstrated success developing scalable, enterprise-grade software products, deployed and utilized by multiple enterprise customers.
- Hands-on programming and software development skills in Golang and Python within Linux-based environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud services, containerization (Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of public cloud platforms and associated service ecosystems.
- Proven track record mentoring technical teams and leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders across product management and customer success teams.
Work Arrangement
On Site: This role is based on-site, offering the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with team members in a dynamic and engaging work environment. Being physically present allows for seamless teamwork and direct access to resources that support your success. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 182,400 and USD $ 364,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
