The Opportunity

If so, we invite you to join our Culture & Community team as a Culture & Community Sr. Program Manager, where you’ll drive initiatives and influence systems that embed employee voice, purpose, and connection across the entire employee life cycle.

In this role, you will be a key architect of enterprise-wide Culture & Community strategies, leading critical programs such as Employee Resource Group (ERG) engagement—referred to at Nutanix as LIFE Group engagement—along with culture diagnostics and internal reporting. You’ll partner with leaders across the People Team, Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, and the broader business to ensure we not only talk about culture—we build it, live it, and lead with it.


About the Team

The Culture & Community function is part of our broader People Business Partner organization. We focus on strengthening how we hire, lead, support, and connect with one another across the company. Our work centers on amplifying employee voice and supporting a culture where people feel seen, valued, and connected.

We partner closely with all functions across the People Team to ensure employees don’t just see our values and culture principles in action — they feel them in their day-to-day experiences.

You’ll report to the Vice President, People Business Partners, Culture & Community, a leader known for building a highly efficient and globally scaled team that meets people where they are. The team brings a deep commitment to practical leadership and are instrumental in shaping our company’s culture principles — a framework that continues to guide how we lead and work together every day.


Your Role

Culture Strategy & Integration

  •  Develop and implement a scalable strategy for managing Culture & Community in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Equip managers and employees with practical tools and resources that foster a culture of mutual support and accountability.
  • Lead and partner on initiatives that shape how we hire the most qualified talent, ensuring our culture principles are embedded throughout the process.

Community & Employee LIFE Groups (ERGs)

  • Own the strategy and growth of LIFE Groups, expanding access and engagement across the organization.
  • Support LIFE Group leaders with coaching, resources, strategic and operational guidance to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Facilitate collaboration and storytelling across LIFE Groups to strengthen community connections and employee engagement.

Social Impact

  • Strengthen and expand the company’s community impact initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to design scalable programs that align with our purpose and values.
  • Track and report on community engagement efforts to provide visibility into social impact.

Internal Reporting & Governance

  • Contribute to internal reporting efforts by providing accurate and timely people and culture-related data.
  • Ensure governance and operational rigor of Culture & Community programs, maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
  • Use data insights to inform leadership and stakeholders about the effectiveness of initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams across the company, helping them live our culture principles through daily actions.
  • Facilitate conversations and workshops that support leadership accountability and employee experience.

Internal Communications & Storytelling

  • Collaborate with Communications to share stories and successes that highlight how our culture principles are lived across the organization.
  • Develop communication plans for key culture moments and LIFE Group activities.

What You Will Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Culture, Community, Employee Engagement, or related People Operations roles within fast-paced, global organizations.
  • Proven ability to design, lead, and govern programs that shape how organizations hire, support, and connect their people.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing Employee LIFE Groups (ERGs), including providing strategic guidance and operational support.
  • Strong understanding of community impact initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to internal reporting and managing governance around Culture & Community programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships and influence leadership behaviors.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to craft compelling narratives that bring initiatives to life.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into practical action and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative and humble leadership style, comfortable working across diverse teams and geographies.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 147,200 and USD $ 294,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
