Sales Development Manager (Southern Europe)

We are looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our world-class Inside sales team in EMEA to manage our SDRs across Southern Europe.

You will lead a team of SDRs who are responsible for driving revenue across all segments of the business.  You will be part of a team responsible for defining and building our Inside Sales Strategy. You will help facilitate the achievement of these goals by hiring and training employees; extending the company culture, provide coaching and mentoring to Employees in Southern Europe. This role also works closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, channel, operations, and field sales leadership on programs designed to help achieve company revenue goals. The candidate will need to have a deep understanding and experience in inside sales models, systems, and innovations.

The Manager will rely on experience in developing and executing a segment-based GTM strategy with consistent overachievement. A wide degree of creativity, accountability, and ownership is expected.
 

 

About the team

Nutanix EMEA Inside Sales team is responsible for accelerating revenue growth. This team is exposed to supporting functions like sales, marketing, channel, and support within the organization as well as Nutanix customers, partners, distributors, and alliances. This team of 100+ individuals is spread over the different hubs in EMEA, and consists of Sales Development Representatives, Inside Account Executives, and Inside Channel Account Managers. The teams’ unique vibe comes from the constant creativity, innovation, and focus on how we can better serve our customers every time. The EMEA Inside Sales team is a talent pool for other functions in the company, it is the ideal opportunity to get to know the Nutanix portfolio and accelerate your career.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive a team of high caliber sales development reps
  • Meet and exceed meeting and opportunity targets for all aligned verticals
  • Motivate and manage sales development reps drive pipeline development and revenues through Nutanix partners
  • Work with Nutanix marketing & Channels to build and implement campaigns focused at various target market segments
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts and track sales activity leveraging SFDC
  • Responsible for employee role definition, enablement, evaluation, and staffing for  SDRs.
  • Develops team performance against quotas, forecasts, and key metrics for the OKR’s team - executes operating plans and ensures ISO objectives are met
  • Collaborate with Southern Europe theatre sales leadership on territory planning and execution
  • Maintain and promote a successful and positive work environment
  • Develop a thorough onboarding program for new hire SDRs.
  • Work with the enablement teams to build an ongoing training program for SDRs that will continue to develop them as an SDR

 

About you

  • Sales experience and management experience
  • Experience in enterprise sales required
  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of a team
  • Experience hiring, developing and retaining talent
  • Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodologies and the ability to coach to it
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.com skills
  • Fluent in English and another Southern European language. 

Nice to have

  • Direct professional experience with VMware, Amazon, Microsoft or Citrix virtualization and cloud solutions.
  • Experience selling hybrid cloud, servers, storage hardware, networking or virtualization
