SLED Systems Engineer (Presales)
- Develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs within the SLED sector, leveraging the drive for simplicity, cloud-first strategies, and cost savings to build strong relationships and drive sales success.
- Take on a leadership role by identifying technology opportunities that align with customer objectives, providing channel partner training and enablement, and establishing Nutanix as a technical leader in the enterprise space.
- Work as part of a sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets in the first year, utilizing technical expertise, account management skills, and exceptional customer focus.
- Present Nutanix Solutions' value proposition to customers and partners, participate in product assessments and validations, and install and maintain Nutanix solutions for pre-sales PoC deployments.
- Foster long-term business relationships and act as a trusted advisor within each account, maximizing reseller/alliance partner relationships to drive sales performance and deliver technical product presentations and training sessions.
- Develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned accounts
- Understand and specialize in Application Virtualization and Server Virtualization
- Motivate, train, and conduct seminars within CSA partners to increase Nutanix revenues
- BS CS/EE or equivalent work experience with 5+ years as a pre-sales Senior Systems Engineer or Solutions Architect
- Flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new technologies; excellent communication and presentation skills; direct professional experience with VMware; knowledge of Linux/UNIX, networking, storage, and platform performance/sizing.
