Supply Chain Forecasting Manager
Produce weekly and monthly demand plans by collaborating with cross functional partners (Product Management, Finance and Sales) and analyzing historical trends, current demand and industry guidance. The position has the opportunity to grow in responsibility as the discrete businesses become consolidated.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Produce the demand forecast for systems and components, incorporating history, trends, sales pipeline data, attach rates, pricing and promotions, industry guidance and other relevant factors
Maintain Attach Rates at multiple levels of granularity
Perform Statistical Analyses and What-If Analyses
Ensure smooth Product Transitions by accurately reflecting ramp up and ramp down plans
Monitor pipeline tracking and analytics
Analyze Forecast Consumption and discern patterns
Determine the impact of event based demand (e.g. Large Deals and Promotions) on overall forecast levels
Calculate recommended material buffer requirements
Provide analytics to support product transitions, EOL and material liabilities
Manage, and continue to evolve, data warehouse, management reporting and operational KPIs
Collaborate with Sales Operations, Product Management, Finance
Five years demand management/analyst experience
Server and/or Storage industry in a high configurability environment
Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment
Knowledge of electronic components and sub-assemblies
Expertise in advanced Excel functions
Exposure to Demand Planning tools (Demantra, Logility, Anaplan, other) and analytics
Experience working with Contract Manufacturers
Excellent written and oral communication
BS in Business Management, Operations, Business Statistics or similar discipline.
