Internship and Job Fair Coordinator
NOTE: This position will be based in our Houston, TX office location with travel as required.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Internship and Job Fair Coordinator will be the frontline representative for NuScale at Recruiting and Technical Events, College Career Fairs, and will manage NuScale’s Internship Program. This individual will play a strategic role in ensuring NuScale remains highly visible to potential job seekers and as a preferred employer of choice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with Marketing and Business Development to assess trade shows and technical events where NuScale would want to have a recruiting presence.
- Organizes event participation and ensures appropriate representatives will be in attendance at event exhibits. Manages logistics of all booth materials to be utilized during each event.
- Works with Universities and College Career centers to establish NuScale as an authorized employer to receive Career Fair invites and access to post open requisitions.
- Coordinates NuScale’s internship program, which will include participation in the internship recruiting process, making introductions to hiring managers, responding to internship inquiries, and facilitating the Intern Appreciation Week where all interns can be onsite together.
- Documents and maintains candidate profile information in the applicant tracking system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
- Education: A minimum of a 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant field is required. Alternatively, an additional 4 years (6 years totao) of full-time, directly applicable working experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full-time working experience in recruitment and/or event coordination is required. Experience as a full-cycle recruiter is preferred. Prior experience in US Commercial Nuclear is preferred. Other required skills are as follows:
- Must be able to travel domestically as required for events and fairs using various forms of transportation. Estimated travel up to 20%.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communications.
- Must have an outgoing, engaging work style and personality
- Must have a high degree of ability to work with a diverse population
- Must have a proven ability to effectively function with minimal direct supervision.
- Experience with a high volume of often-repetitive work (candidate interviews, scheduling, documentation, etc).
- Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Pay and Benefits:
The target pay range for this position is $73,207 - $88,335 annually. The full pay range is $65,621 - $102,637 annually.
