About the role
Our client is the leading venture-backed provider of Application Relationship Management software, enabling complex, global enterprises to discover and protect the relationships between users, digital assets, and data.
We are looking for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing and creating data integration and software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, operations, and QA teams
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement reliable and scalable integrations for a data-driven product
- Work with a team of highly skilled engineers and product managers to analyze requirements and contribute to the planning, estimating, and work breakdown of new features, defects, and technical changes
- Work with an Agile team following Kanban practices with a strong Jira discipline
- Follow and contribute to software best practices like unit testing, security, performance and scale, logging, and documentation
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- Advanced experience with Python, Apache Spark/PySpark
- Strong understanding of cloud data storage and retrieval (AWS, Azure)
- Experience using message queues (e.g. Kafka)
- Experience with data ingestion and integration
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Understanding of IP network fundamentals
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Apache Airflow
- Experience working with OpenTelemetry
- Experience reviewing and troubleshooting network logs
- Experience building and deploying containers
