About the role:
Our client is a global leader in delivering software for the intelligent edge. The company’s technology has been powering the safest, most secure devices in the world since 1981 and is found in billions of products.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Cloud who will architect and develop production web applications using testable, maintainable code, you will also design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software, manage project priorities and deadlines, and work with large-scale microservice architectures and service integrations.
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
- Develop new software features, including APIs, integrations, and web interfaces
- Deliver features and updates to the infrastructure
- Supporting and contributing to software design, architecture, and enhancements
- Maintains stability of platforms, applications, services, and systems
- Coach engineers to develop best practices in software development
- May coordinate and define activities of other engineers
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 5+ years of experience working in Software Development
- Strong experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong experience programming with Go
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, HTML and CSS
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
- Able to see the big picture of how systems interact with one another
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 5+ years of experience working in Software Development
