About the role:
Our client provides comprehensive business management software for law firms and other professional services organizations.
The Cloud Engineer is highly hands-on and technical, and responsible for development, maintenance, deployment, and operations of the client's cloud computing services. The Cloud Engineer position is part of a team responsible for designing, building, operating, and monitoring cloud environments. This role offers opportunities to work with the latest technologies that public cloud provides. This individual must have excellent knowledge & experience with ITIL, Information Security, and DevOps practices.
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
Work as part of a fast-paced IT Cloud Ops environment, work includes:
- Building out VCPs
- Securely connecting cloud applications to the internet
- Configuring security groups, subnets, and hosted zones.
- Monitor AWS and Azure resources and be an SME on recommendations around automation and cost efficiencies within these environments.
- Build scripts for operational automation and incident response
- Enhance or develop infrastructure / configuration management to be scalable, robust, and redundant
- Resolve issues in accordance with cloud services standards to ensure cases are resolved within SLAs
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues to determine the root cause
- Work with Product Management and Software Development staff to deploy software to production
- Track issue resolution status and participate in standup meetings
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills

- 3+ years of IT CloudOps experience supporting PaaS/SaaS environments.
- Strong experience and familiarity with public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP), with an extra emphasis on AWS.
- Networking knowledge (VPC)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash/PowerShell/Node)
- GitHub Actions/YAML knowledge
- Some sort of configurations/infrastructure as code experience (Terraform would be ideal, Ansible can be taught, Flux would be a plus)
- Grafana knowledge would be nice
- AzDo Kanban experience would be a plus
- Rapid adapatibility
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and possess a high level of technical skills, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
