About the role:
Our client is a global leader in delivering software for the intelligent edge. The company’s technology has been powering the safest, most secure devices in the world since 1981 and is found in billions of products.
The Delivery Operations team needs a Senior Engineer to develop and support our client's delivery systems. The initial focus will be on learning to support an AWS Kubernetes-based application. Once that knowledge transfer is complete, you will develop and support future versions. Support includes working with both internal and external customers. The position requires strong AWS full-stack development skills and some customer support experience. This position will train in alignment with the Eastern time zone as much as possible.
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
- Learn and support an AWS Kubernetes-based application, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers, providing technical support and addressing inquiries regarding application functionality.
- Develop new features and enhancements to the application, following best practices for coding and quality assurance.
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and debugging of the system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement improvements or updates to the application.
- Conduct tests, implement automation, and ensure that the platform is secure and scalable.
- Assist with the creation of documentation, release notes, and knowledge-sharing content to improve customer experience and internal processes.
- Participate in sprint planning and Agile development cycles, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of features and fixes.
- Provide support for deployment, upgrades, and configuration changes, ensuring all environments are properly managed.
- Handle environment issues, triage bugs, and address complex challenges related to the AWS Kubernetes environment.
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills

- Extensive experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker
- Frontend experience with Angular and backend with Express.js, Node.js core modules.
- Strong experience/understanding of Kafka.
- Strong programming & scripting experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful API services, Webhooks,
- Experience in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis ,etc...
- Good experience in cloud services such as AWS.
- Frontend experience with Angular and backend with Express.js, Node.js core modules.
