About the role
Our client is the leading venture-backed provider of Application Relationship Management software, enabling complex, global enterprises to discover and protect the relationships between users, digital assets, and data.
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team. This person will work with cutting-edge technologies and modern automation frameworks. This team helps to enable application control for highly regulated environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated testing scripts for cloud and on-prem enterprise products using popular test frameworks and tools.
- Work with developers to create unit tests, component tests, and performance tests. Support the development of best practices in test creation and coverage within the engineering organization
- Own the integration of all testing within our cloud-based CI/CD workflow
- Partner with internal engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment, driving the best possible customer experience with our products
- Assist with the transition from Jenkins to GitHub Actions
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
- Coding experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, PyTest, etc.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges, and drive the implementation of solutions
- Facility with driving clarity around ambiguous/undefined problems; and the ability to think abstractly
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient coding experience in Python or Javascript
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
