ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Associate Brand Manager plays a critical role in advancing Nulo’s product marketing initiatives that influence consumer consideration and retail conversion. This position focuses on translating brand strategy into consumer-facing product marketing programs across retail, digital, and social channels that drive engagement and purchase intent. Success requires exceptional project management and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with retail marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce, creative, operations, and sales teams to deliver programs that strengthen product credibility and accelerate purchase decisions.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Product Marketing Program Execution: Manage execution of product-focused marketing initiatives designed to drive consumer consideration and retail conversion, including consumer sampling programs, user-generated content programs, Amazon influencer partnerships, and digital product storytelling.
  • Sales Enablement & Product Storytelling: Develop and maintain product marketing materials that support retail partners and the field sales team, including sell sheets, product guides, launch toolkits, and training materials that clearly communicate product benefits and differentiation.
  • Product Content & Asset Development: Coordinate the creation and maintenance of product content and assets across packaging, digital channels, and eCommerce platforms to ensure consistent and compelling product representation across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Innovation Commercialization: Support the commercialization of product innovation, line extensions, and packaging modernization initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines required to bring products successfully to market.
  • Product Performance & Market Insights: Monitor product performance and category trends using syndicated and internal data to support decision-making and identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Portfolio & Competitive Monitoring: Track competitive activity and category trends to support the development of tools that help internal teams communicate product advantages more effectively. 
  • Project Management: Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional workstreams that support product launches, portfolio updates, and marketing initiatives. Ensure projects remain on schedule and stakeholders stay aligned from concept through market activation.

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Translates brand strategy into actionable consumer-facing product marketing programs, delivering measurable business results with speed and excellence. 
  • Detail-oriented marketer who ensures product messaging and assets are accurate, compelling, and consistent. 
  • Strong project manager who can organize complex initiatives and drive progress across multiple teams. 
  • Inspires and aligns cross-functional teams to execute flawlessly and accelerate innovation. 
  • Leverages data and consumer insights to make sound decisions and optimize brand performance. 
  • Communicates with clarity and influence, building trust and commitment across all levels of the organization. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or related field 
  • 2+ years in brand management or new product development, preferably within pet food or CPG. 
  • Quantitative and analytical skills required. Ideally, experience working with syndicated data like Nielsen. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. 
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
  • Salsify data management experience is a plus.  
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:      
  • Travel up to 15% of the time
  • In-person meetings at the discretion of the team lead and business needs.
