1.1.2          PRE-REQUISITES

 

  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications product portfolio
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience on Cisco VoIP products
  • Configuration and troubleshooting experience with E1, T1, FXS, FXO, MGCP, SCCP, SIP, SRST & H323
  • Hands-on experience on Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Voice Gateways
  • Preferred optional skills: Cisco UCCX, Cisco Presence, Cisco Meeting Place
  • Optional skills: Avaya CM, Avaya Audix

 

1.1.3          RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support the operation of Cisco/Avaya voice network services and perform voice related MACDs
  • Receive calls from customers to open trouble tickets
  • Work on trouble tickets to resolve customer’s voice issues
  • Remotely monitor and manage client’s voice devices
  • Work with Telecommunication Service Providers to resolve circuit problems
  • Work with hardware/software vendors to resolve problems
  • Work in a rotating shift schedule
  • Perform assigned duties related to network and security services
  • Any additional task given to the incumbent from time-to-time based on business needs

 

1.1.4          TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

 

  • CCNA voice/CCVP, ACA IP Telephony, Avaya CTP or relevant experience

 

1.1.5          EXPERIENCE

 

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive, relevant experience and proven capability to work in a complex network environment

 

1.1.6          EDUCATION

 

  • Bachelor in Engineering - Computers/Electronics/Communication or related field
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Science/Maths/IT or related streams with relevant technology experience

 

1.1.7          TECHNOLOGIES AND OTHER SKILLS

 

  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Basic knowledge of telephone handling skills
