Network Engineer - Customer Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities for the position include the following; however other duties may be assigned as needed for the smooth and continued operations of the company.
- Coordinate workflow with customers, project managers and architecture groups in a thorough and timely manner
- Develop and implement detailed designs for customer enterprise networks
- Lead design discussions involving network and security technologies based on customer design requirements
- Serve as an SME and escalation point for the operations team for accounts that have inherent design complexity
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose LAN/WAN network issues
- Work with hardware/circuit provider from different geographical regions for installing diverse circuits types (TDM ,Ethernet, xDSL) and participate in remote troubleshooting wherever required
- Create / maintain documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and circuits
- Oversee the final installation of circuits to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams in tool development
Required Skills and Experience
- Must have above average written and verbal communication skills
- Must have at least 5 years of network engineering experience with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management
- Proven technical ability in configuring, installing and troubleshooting of SDWAN, routers, switches, dial-up modems, and wireless devices
- Technical expertise with SDWAN (overlay, underlay, traffic classification), routing (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), and switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, STP)
- Hands-on experience with MPLS (L3 and L2 VPNs), IPSec and SSL VPNs, QoS Wireless communication, load balancing/sharing techniques and WAN Optimization
- Proven ability to work effectively with various internal groups, vendors and clients in complex projects and high-pressure environments
- Willing to work across time zones and diverse cultural framework
- Cisco or Juniper certification and Palo Alto experience a plus
