What you will do
The Program Manager, Events plays a key role in crafting compelling event experiences by organizing strategic content in close collaboration with internal partners and customers. In this role, you will coordinate planning efforts, manage timelines, and ensure all content-related elements are aligned to support the event’s goals and outcomes. You will serve as the point of contact for external speakers at NRC Health flagship events, as well as manage NRC Health’s executive and faculty speaker assignments for sponsored events through the speaker resource center. This role is not responsible for the logistical aspects of physical event planning but will support on-site conference services activities when needed.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for event content execution
    • Conduct external audience and internal research to identify key themes and messages, including facilitating brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate ideas
    • Ensure alignment between event goals and participant needs through clear communication and coordination
    • Collaborate with speakers and internal associates to finalize engaging agendas and session flow
    • Recommend event strategy and improvement opportunities
    • Secure buy-in and alignment from stakeholders on content plans
    • Stay up to date on marketplace trends and best practices in event content creation
    • Collaborate with marketing and speakers to create compelling materials including presentations as needed, scripts, recruitment materials, know before you go materials and other collateral, as needed.
  • Drive internal stakeholders through project management:
    • Develop and implement project plans and content plans for multiple events concurrently
    • Collaborate with marketing and events team to ensure all milestones are communicated and met
    • Facilitate selection of partner speakers for all NRC Health events
    • Develop and implement tools to promote accountability, engagement and lead generation throughout the event lifecycle, driving measurable sales outcomes
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of event content:
    • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track content success
    • Analyze data and feedback to identify areas of improvement
    • Report on the impact of content and client participation as aligned to goals and objectives
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, event management or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in event management or a related field
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate cross-functionally 
  • Strong understanding of event management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • The ability to travel to approximately 10-15 meetings a year 
 
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $101,250 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Some of our roles offer performance-based variable compensation. Eligibility and potential payouts vary depending on the role and are tied to performance metrics. If you are hired at NRC Health, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
