About the office
Student Administration provides operational support across student administration and regulatory functions, enabling Faculties, Schools, and University departments to make informed academic decisions and deliver a positive student experience.
About the role
The Senior Administration Officer, Examinations Accessibility supports the coordination of accessible examinations for students with Learning Access Plans, working closely with the Timetabling, Examinations, and Access & Inclusion teams to promote equitable access and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate accessible exam scheduling, venues, and adjustments for students with Learning Access Plans (LAPs).
- Support the delivery of accessible, deferred, supplementary, and alternative examinations.
- Collaborate with Timetabling, Examinations, and Access & Inclusion teams to implement approved accommodations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of accessibility provisions and examination arrangements.
- Liaise with invigilators and stakeholders to support exam delivery and manage incidents.
- Prepare reports and documentation while ensuring compliance with University policies and relevant legislation.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Relevant qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience providing support to students from diverse cultural, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds.
- Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably within a tertiary or education environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement, discretion, and confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
- Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, CELCAT, Allocate+ or equivalent student allocation systems. (Desirable).
- Proficiency in student management, timetabling, and large-scale database systems, with the ability to extract, analyse, and report on data while maintaining accurate records.
- Current Working with Children Check for NSW or WA.
