About the office
Student Administration at the University of Notre Dame provides specialized expertise and operational support across student administration, services, and essential regulatory, policy, and compliance areas, supporting academic decisions within Faculties, Schools, and other university departments.
About the role
This International Student Compliance Coordinator reports to the Senior Team Leader Student Administration and supports the efficient management of the University’s systems for collecting, storing, processing, reporting, and analysing international student data. It covers the entire international student journey from course enrolment to graduation, delivering high-quality professional services to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing, monitoring, and managing compliance with international student record obligations under the ESOS Act 2000 and related legislation and regulations.
- Monitor international student enrolment and academic progress to meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate data in PRISMS and reconcile with University records.
- Coordinate intervention strategies with Schools and ensure timely documentation.
- Advise on enrolment changes, policy implications, and compliance matters.
- Support data reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality service to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to University policies and relevant legislation.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Completion of a degree with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including HESA and ESOS, and its application to international student record management.
- Experience in managing student records and working with data systems, preferably in an international student context.
- Knowledge of compliance processes and a commitment to delivering a positive client experience.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence, with the ability to handle high enquiry volumes and apply problem-solving skills to deliver quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Commitment to adhering to University policies and procedures in all areas of work and conduct.
