About the role
The Junior Developer plays a key role in supporting the development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions within the ND Engage digital transformation program. Working under the direction of the Senior Technical Analyst/Developer, the role contributes across the full application lifecycle, including deployments, updates, testing, and continuous service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions under senior technical Analyst guidance.
- Assist across the application lifecycle, including deployments, patching, testing, and version control.
- Provide operational support for production and non‑production environments, including troubleshooting incidents, monitoring performance, and ensuring system availability and integrity.
- Contribute to functional and technical improvements through coding, scripting, and automation (C#, Python, JavaScript, React, SQL) in line with established standards and ALM pipelines.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, solution catalogues, and internal knowledge bases to support cross‑skilling and effective handovers.
- Participate in proactive monitoring, peer reviews, knowledge‑sharing sessions, and data collection on system usage and performance to support informed decision‑making.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience; Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure) are desirable.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in technical support or development roles, including business application support, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) or similar business applications, with familiarity in testing, deployment, configuration, and application lifecycle activities.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 and modern workplace or service management tools such as Jira/Confluence or ServiceNow.
- Practical experience with programming and scripting languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
- Understanding of business applications, workflow automation, and digital solutions.
