Key Responsibilities
- Lead academic strategy and operations across Fremantle and Sydney
campuses
- Drive innovation in teaching, research, and clinical education
- Strengthen the School’s research profile through strategic leadership and capacity building
- Provide effective leadership and management of Academic and Professional staff, fostering professional development
- Oversee accreditation and uphold rigorous academic quality standards
- Grow external partnerships with healthcare, industry, and professional
bodies
- Promote staff development and facilitate research engagement and output
- Working in close partnership with the Executive Dean and senior leadership, you will align the school’s vision with Notre Dame’s mission, strategic goals, and Catholic identity.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Level E Professor with a doctorate in a Health Science related degree (eg Biomedical Science, Allied Health, Exercise and Sports Science), or an equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate to the discipline, and a strong track record of research, service and engagement.
- Current registration with AHPRA (where applicable) with no notations and/or restrictions
- Expert Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, accreditation processes and clinical placement best practices
- Demonstrated understanding of setting budgets and the ability to manage operations within the set budget.
- Proven leadership experience in higher education, including staff and
program development
- A sustained record of excellence in teaching and research
- Demonstrated experience in managing professional accreditation
processes
- Strategic acumen and a collaborative, mission-aligned leadership style
