Position: Business Data and Systems Analyst
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid - 1 day in office)

The Role
Northwest Center is seeking a Business Data and Systems Analyst who can bridge finance, data, and systems. You'll partner across teams to understand how our business operates, build meaningful reporting, and improve how we use data for analysis. This position plays a key role in system enhancements and implementations, helping ensure our tools and processes scale with the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex financial and operational data into clear insights that drive decision-making.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000

What You'll Do

  • Aggregating financial and operational data from core source systems, cleaning it, and preparing it for reporting and analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining models/dashboards for forecasting revenue, expenses, cash flow and business scorecards to support reporting and analysis of business performance.
  • Measuring critical financial metrics at the company organization-wide level as well as the department-level to help leadership understand organizational performance.
  • Using aggregated data and business understanding, develop reports and analysis that support leadership decision making.
  • Preparing reporting and data for ad hoc analysis requests from senior leadership or executives
  • Understanding organizational systems and help improve how data from different systems is organized and reported.
  • Assisting in the design, testing and implementation of new systems and helping ensure reporting continues to function correctly.
  • Becoming a superuser for designated systems, including, but not limited to Accounting, Analytics, and Reporting.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial statements
  • Experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, and data analysis (e.g., Power BI)
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable insights
  • Experience with software implementations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, explaining data clearly
