Join Our Team as an Estimator at Lithtex NW!
 
Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a passion for printing? Lithtex NW, a division of Northwest Center and a premier provider of high-quality printing solutions, is looking for an Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in accurately estimating, planning, and scheduling printing jobs to ensure optimal production efficiency. Your deep understanding of offset, digital, and wide-format printing processes and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams will help maintain a smooth workflow.
 

Location: Bellingham

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM 

Wage Range: $60,000 - $65,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate quotes to customers and the sales team using our estimating system.
  • Verify job specifications with customers and the sales team to ensure projects are ready for production.
  • Create detailed job tickets through our MIS system.
  • Collaborate with the production team and vendor partners to manage project details and scheduling.
  • Offer cost breakdowns and recommendations to support competitive pricing.
  • Work closely with the VP of Operations, Sales Director, sales team, and customer service to ensure clear job specifications and internal clarity.
  • Identify potential production challenges and provide solutions before jobs enter production.
Experience & Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in the printing industry.
  • Experience in estimating commercial printing is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of offset, digital, and wide-format printing processes.
  • Understanding of bindery, mailing, and finishing processes.
  • Working knowledge of paper stocks, substrates, and print production materials.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
