Now Hiring: Customer Service & Sales Representative in Spokane
This position focuses on a high level of quality control. Using your stellar customer service and sales skills, you will build and maintain current customers while adding new accounts. You will represent Argus in a professional manner, using your eye for detail to inspect accounts, resolve issues and help grow the business.
➣ Maintain current and new accounts
➣ Solicitation of “new account"
➣ Solicitation of “tag sales" (i.e. window cleaning, carpet cleaning, floor stripping/waxing, construction clean-ups,)
➣ Maintain sales activity
➣ Inspect accounts
➣ Write work assignments for each account to maintain the Argus Janitorial level of quality service
➣ Follow-up on work assignments to ensure that it is completed, and level of cleaning is of quality
➣ Establish a strong relationship with building tenants, property managers and Facilities personnel, etc.
➣ After 6 months, become an active participating member of an area service organization such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and BOMA
➣ Maintain positive relationships and meet daily with Management and supervisory staff
➣ Attend regular scheduled meetings
➣ Immediately follow-up on customer complaints to include personal site visit and next day follow-up
➣ Meet with customers and individual tenants to get detailed information for new account start up to include billing information, account budgets, building alarms, emergency phone numbers, hot spots, keys, Tour building with Argus key personnel prior to start-up & introduce to customer
➣ Follow-up as long as necessary on all assigned accounts, checking with tenants to ensure quality control and no cleaning deficiencies
➣Tour buildings with Operations Manager and supervisory staff. This might require visiting buildings after hours
➣ Order supplies/equipment for new accounts and supplemental work. Request janitorial labor
➣ Other tasks as assigned by Management
➣ This position reports directly to the Vice President
The role of Customer Service & Sales Representative requires availability for occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends. You are required to carry a cell phone and be available. However, this does not mean that you are required to work 24-hours. Standard hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. There are times when a supervisor may need to call you at home at night because they have questions or an emergency. In the event of an emergency or if a property manager needs to be called after business hours, the Customer Service/Sales Representative is responsible for making any after hour emergency calls. You still need to be in the office between 4:00PM & 5:00PM to meet with Management.
The Customer Service/Sales Representative compensation shall be an annual base salary depending on experience, plus commission sales. Salary increases are based solely upon the following:
