WAREHOUSE WORKER, FULFILLMENT – @ Amazon Fulfillment Center in Kent, WA

Northwest Center is working as an agent to hire Full-Time Warehouse Associates to support inclusion and hire those with disabilities into Amazon’s warehouse!

This is a full-time role at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Kent, where you will be stowing or picking products and working with and around moving machinery. There is lots of walking involved, so a relaxed dress code and comfortable shoes are a must. Successful team members will be comfortable with varying noise levels and temperatures. Associates in this role have access to a job coach and support resources.

Wage: 16.80 per hour

Shift days: Sunday – Wednesday, with potential for mandatory overtime on Thursday

Shift times: 7:30 am – 6 pm (40 to 50 hours per week, if mandatory overtime is needed); Full Time

 Eligible applicants: Individuals receiving vocational rehabilitative support by state agencies, the Ticket to Work program, the Department of Veteran Affairs, and individuals receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a documented disability
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Able to read English
  • Able to lift to 49 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to stand and walk up 10-12 hours
  • Able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Climbing and descending stairs safely
