Northwest Center is looking for an Employment Consultant to join our team!  As an Employment Consultant, you can make a difference. You will not only be providing vital services to people with disabilities, but you will also be an ambassador for social change in your community! We partner with businesses for long-term employment solutions; you'll be in charge of forming and maintaining those relationships and advocating for our mission.

 
WHEN WILL I BE WORKING?:

Scheduled days may vary but hours are typically between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Schedule may include weekday and weekend work; 

 
HOW WILL I BE COMPENSATED?:

Starting at $15.00 per hour but can be higher depending on experience, relevant education/skills + Mileage Reimbursement for miles driven for work.

 
WHERE WILL I BE WORKING?
Our clients need work in all over Spokane, Spokane Valley and surrounding areas.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

☆Creative, dedicated individuals who love to network, connect and grow in the community.
☆Valid Driver's license.
☆Acceptable 5-year driving abstract.
☆Experience working in teams and solo.
☆Background knowledge of business/marketing principles. Relevant coursework is great too!
☆Previous experience in sales and development or previous work as an Employment Consultant.

WHAT YOUR ROLE CAN LOOK LIKE!:

 As an Employment Consultant at Northwest Center, you will help directly influence and support employers and help foster a culture of inclusion in all kinds of fields.  Though everyday can be different, what you can expect in this role is:

✶Developing and maintaining positive relationship with employers in the community by being there to answer questions or concerns they might have.

✶Completing Community Based Assessments with clients to help find the best options for possible employment.

✶Developing written vocational plans with the client and the support team to help assist in our client’s success.

✶Advocating on behalf of the client with local businesses to develop employment opportunities and even arrange job site visits for clients.

 And so much more!
