CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.       Lead a team of data analysts and acts as an evangelist for data analytics across the enterprise fueling the use of data to solve business problems.

2.       Lead the evaluation and identification of new technologies, track industry trends and recommend future state solutions. 

3.       Partner with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are correct, on time and meet the needs of the business.  Continuously seek ways to improve and evolve the data analytics function.

4.       Establish and facilitate Steering Committees / Governance Meetings with senior business leaders from each business domain focused on analytics roadmap, maturity curve, prioritization, adoption rates and inflight work.

5.       Cultivates a network of external vendors and contacts to benchmark practices against competition and to maximize organizational effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• at least 5 years of successful performance as a Data & Analytics leader with demonstrative understanding of Agile and DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders and influence others.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud data analytics technology stack.
• Hands on knowledge of Database, Data Engineering, Visualization, Analytics and Automation tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience guiding an organization from descriptive to prescriptive analytics
• Retail Industry experience
