Forklift Operator - 2nd shift - $1,000 Sign On Bonus

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS  - $500 paid at the completion of 30 days and $500 after 90 days!

Monday - Thursday work schedule, 4:30pm - 3am. Some OT may be required on Fridays.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Efficiently and safely moves materials and inventory within the assembly area and warehouse using a stand up forklift.

 MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Supports assembly production lines with parts as production dictates
  2. Assists Shipping and Receiving departments in moving, locating or retrieving needed parts/supplies.
  3. Assists in picking parts if necessary
  4. Processes returns as restock items or vendor returns to stock.
  5. Assists Cycle Count Coordinator as workload dictates.
  6. Empties all garbage containers and appropriate refuse containers.
  7. Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
  8. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of previous forklift experience.
  • Personal computer experience --Ability to work accurately with numbers and details
  • Demonstrated ability to handle varied projects
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively,
  • Ability to complete projects with general instructions and within time constraints.
  • Ability to consistently and efficiently perform assigned duties.
  • Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment’s 12 Core Competencies

 A qualification test will be performed during the interview. Please come prepared to operate a stand up forklift.
