Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30PM

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:


To maintain the quality and accuracy of the inventory within the Savage DC.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Performs daily cycle count audits to ensuring quantity accuracy along with product accuracy within warehouse locations.
2. Researches discrepancies using the warehouse management system and Enterprise Resource Planning system.
3. Performs receiving audits to ensure quantity, product, and location accuracy.
4. Performs shipping audits of customer’s orders to ensure the quantity, quality, and accuracy of the order.
5. Required to travel to the manufacturing facility to preform cycle counts audits in order to ensure quantity and product accuracy within those warehouse locations.
6. Performs physical checks of non-conforming product to maintain high quality standards and follows up with solutions.
7. Documents discrepancies found during audits and reports them on the appropriate forms.
8. Completes all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
9. Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and practices.
10. Follows standard operating procedures when performing job.
11. Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
12. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School education or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in related position or field.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the understanding of responsibilities and priorities.
• Ability to accurately read and match numbers.
• Ability to use a personal computer for email, spreadsheets, and use of the internet.
• At least 6 months experience with AS400.
• At least 6 months data entry experience.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate to personnel at all levels.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
• Ability to contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to operate forklift, motorized pallet jack or other power equipment as necessary.
• Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment’s 12 Core Competencies.
