DISTRIBUTION CENTER ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP  

As a DC Engineering Intern, you will get the opportunity to put your unique fingerprint on the employee experience at NorthernYou will be an active member of the growing DC Systems and Engineering department that is building creative solutions on how we move product through our multi-channel distribution centersWe are a team that champions change, removes roadblocks and builds a culture where everyone can win together!   

 

Some of the responsibilities will include: 

  • Attending daily production leadership meetings 
  • Propose capital project, build business case, and present to SVP and Directors 
  • Opportunity to visit DCs in Arlington, Texas and Savage, Minnesota 
  • Assist on on-going project to install AS/RS system (Autostore)

What we look for in our Interns 

  • Must be rising senior or a recent graduate from a Bachelor’s or Graduate engineering program  
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in previous work experience and/or extracurriculars 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills 
  • Coachable and self-motivated to learn and exceed your own expectations 
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

 

Compensation:  $20/hourly 

Location:  Fort Mill, SC (on-site)
