Human Resources Administrator
Northbridge Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Human Resources Administrator to support our Human Resources team and the associates we serve.
The Human Resources Administrator provides operational, administrative, and systems support that strengthens the full associate lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through engagement and retention. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of HR data and processes while helping maintain efficient, compliant, and people-centered HR operations.
Serving as a trusted resource, this position supports HR systems and workflows, maintains confidential records, assists with benefits and leave administration, and helps ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. By strengthening HR operations and delivering responsive, high-quality service, the Human Resources Administrator plays an important role in enhancing the associate experience while upholding Northbridge’s values of Respect, Compassion, and Integrity.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
HR Operations 
•    Maintain accurate associate records within the HRIS, ensuring timely processing of hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations
•    Support HR system audits to promote data integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracy
•    Assist with workforce reporting, metrics, and analytics to support informed decision-making
•    Manage electronic personnel files in alignment with company policy and regulatory standards
•    Support timekeeping and payroll administration through data validation and follow-up
 
Recruitment & Onboarding 
•    Support Applicant Tracking System (ATS) workflows to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience
•    Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and onboarding documentation
•    Facilitate onboarding logistics and ensure completion of required employment documentation
•    Serve as a welcoming and responsive point of contact for applicants and new hires
 
Benefits & Leave Administration Support
•    Assist associates with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and general inquiries
•    Support annual open enrollment processes
•    Support leave of absence management and communication with third-party administrators
•    Help ensure compliance with federal and state leave regulations

Compliance 
•    Support audit preparation and regulatory reporting
•    Ensure I-9 compliance and employment verification documentation
 
Qualifications
   Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
•    3–5 years of HR administrative or HR operations experience preferred
•    Experience with HRIS (UKG) and Applicant Tracking Systems required
•    Knowledge of benefits administration and leave processes preferred
•    Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information
•    Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis), Word (document formatting and policy development); ability to create reports, and produce professional-level documentation and presentations.
