Regional Director of Clinical Services

The Regional Director of Clinical Services is an experienced Assisted Living Registered Nurse (RN) who provides clinical leadership and oversight across multiple Northbridge communities. This role ensures compliance with state regulations, promotes best practices, and drives excellence in resident care through effective training, quality assurance, and operational support. The Director collaborates with community teams to implement and evaluate nursing care systems that reflect the assisted living philosophy. Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is essential, including the ability to troubleshoot issues and train staff on proper usage.
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as a clinical resource and advisor to Resident Care Directors for complex assessments and transitions in care.
  • Support Resident Care Directors and Executive Directors in collaboration with state agencies, ombudsmen, and protective services.
  • Maintain full knowledge of nursing licensure and certification requirements for all states of operation.
  • Conduct resident care audits at least twice annually or as needed; partner with community leadership to address deficiencies.
  • Assist in developing Resident Care Departments for new community start-ups.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and home office training personnel to address them.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with all state regulations and ensure communities remain survey-ready at all times.
  • Provide in-person support for resident or personnel issues as needed.
  • Promote respect and dignity for residents through oversight of care measures, restorative services, and supportive programs.
  • Meet regularly with Executive Directors and interdisciplinary teams to evaluate quality of care and ensure resident needs are met.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and retention of Wellness Department staff.
  • Represent Northbridge communities through presentations to residents, families, staff, and referral sources.
  • Assume management responsibilities in the absence of a Resident Care Director when required.
  • Participate in the development and adherence to wellness systems and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities, including hands-on assisted living experience.
  • Prior regional or multi-site experience providing clinical oversight and support across multiple communities.
