Located in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District, our head office is easily accessible by TTC and GO Transit, and within walking distance to the Eaton Centre, Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre, and CN Tower. Position Summary 

The Intermediate Identity Analyst will work as part of a team to support the identity and access management services including provisioning, de-provisioning, access changes and SSO Integration, etc.

What you will be doing:

  • The Identity Management Analyst will conduct all the operational tasks required to provision and de-provision users, which includes the creation of user IDs, management of identity groups, granting access to various systems, and the deletion of IDs, removal or change of access when no longer needed.
  • Manage IAM systems and work closely with IT and business units to ensure identity and access solutions meet or exceed security policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Service account creation
  • Security groups/distribution list creation
  • AD Profile Updates
  • File share access
  • Creation of user domain IDs, Including creation of any application IDs required.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding of IDs and applications
  • Develop, maintain, and produce service/support reports and documents as required.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical and process documentation.
  • Assist with regular audits reports and participate in audit activities as required.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations/ procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to contribute to quality customer service and support.
  • Participate in IAM projects as required.
  • Drive design review working directly with customers and business owners on the integration requirements including provisioning, de-provisioning and user lifecycle into the IAM platform
  • Review tool capabilities and determine optimization plans
  • Develop enterprise wide standards for identity and access management to meet business needs
  • Consult with business units when implementing access levels for new systems to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Create and maintain architecture for IAM systems to meet business requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, Performing Analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities and business processes, technology, design etc.
  • Assist in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and as appropriate their supporting technologies.
  • Perform use case demonstrations to internal and end clients.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Information Systems Support or related position as asset.
  • Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.
  • Microsoft Certification preferred
  • 3 plus years working experience in functional and/or technical design of technology applications or integrations using Java or any other language.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Architecture
  • Knowledge of Federated Identity Technologies
  • Experience of ServiceNow platform
  • Basic understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth and LDAP.
  • Knowledge of user administration for the telephone system is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Security or Identity and Access Management is a plus.
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, troubleshooting and systems analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Fluently bilingual (English / French) is a definite asset.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience with programming or scripting languages.
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions and single sign on (SSO).
  • Knowledge on Workday, and People soft is a plus.
  • Software Development Lifecycle knowledge
  • Knowledge of UML, XML and SQL.
