Located in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District, our head office is easily accessible by TTC and GO Transit, and within walking distance to the Eaton Centre, Air Canada Centre, Rogers Centre, and CN Tower. The Broker Education Associate will participate in the coordination of design, development, implementation and evaluation of effective learning solutions.  The incumbent will be responsible for the overall support of the broker education and underwriting sales training offering including coordination, research, design, communication, and regional engagement. 


  1. Coordinate the Producer Development Program (PDP) and act as a liaison between Northbridge Insurance and the brokerage participants
  • Assist with regional engagement and involvement within the program.
  • Coordinate events including the launch, graduation and alumni event.
  • Assist with assessment coordination and debriefs of participants and brokerage principals.
  • Report on submission activity of producers.
  • Support the PDP Alumni experience program.
  1. Coordinate regional training projects
  • Support seamless learner experience
  • Support regional engagement for various programs including having BDMs and regional leaders actively involved in the recruitment of participants, the training event, and the training follow-up.
  • Regularly report to key stakeholders on feedback and strategies for improvement.
  • Be a key contact for all brokers and internal stakeholders about the programs.
  1. Support Underwriting Sales Training by assisting in the design and execution of the offering.
  • Liaise with regions to ensure involvement and engagement in training initiatives.
  • Support regional execution of training and facilitation as needed.
  • Participate in the instructional design of programs where required.
  1. Support learning strategy, system implementation and system maintenance.
  • Liaise with various regional insurance institutes for accreditation of training programs.
  • Support the design of online programs including research with subject matter experts.
  • Be an expert user of the broker learning management system.
  1. Other duties as assigned.


  • Ability to work independently, build relationships and collaborate in a high-performance team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency at managing multiple and changing priorities/projects, and delivering results.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation/facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to technical and professional development.


  • Post-secondary school education and/or equivalent on the job experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in project coordination and/or event management
  • Ability to work within and adapt to PC oriented environments, including familiarity with e-mail and Internet skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with virtual classroom software such as WebEx/Live Meeting.
  • Background in Adult Education is an asset.
  • Good understanding of the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, products and terminology is an asset.
  • Fluently bilingual (English / French) is a definite asset (a requirement in Quebec Region).
  • Actively pursuing CIP designation is an asset
