Position Summary:

The Policy Assembly records clerk is responsible for assisting the processing staff with clerical and administrative duties, and is primarily responsible for the support and assistance to the Underwriting departments with respect to records keeping, filing, and mail duties.

What you will be doing:

  • Review polices for accuracy before assembling paperwork for presentation to clients
  • Sort and match statistics, invoices and statements to their appropriate polices
  • Maintain files and records on renewals, new business and current policyholders
  • Sort print outs for head office and branch office
  • Handle rush assignments as required
  • Monitor and report any problems with printer
  • Monitor and order printing and mailing supplies
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, the underwriting department and sales agents

What we’re looking for:

  • Secondary school education, post-secondary diploma and/or equivalent on the job experience
  • Preference for previous experience in an office or customer service work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs and solid data entry skills
