Located in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District, our head office is easily accessible by TTC and GO Transit, and within walking distance to the Eaton Centre, Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre, and CN Tower. Position Summary 

As a part of the People & Culture team, you'll support making big changes that have impactful outcomes on our overall employee experience and focus on creating the solutions and strategies that our employees have been asking for.  You'll help us become more forward-thinking, transformative and connected to the heart of our organization - our people!

Reporting to the Manager, Employee Experience Programs, this position will support the development and implementation of organization wide initiatives focused on enhancing the employee experience. As an Employee Experience Programs Specialist, you'll wear several hats: innovator, advisor and facilitator to internal partners across the organization.  You'll collaborate with the People & Culture team to identify opportunities and assist in the continuous evolution of programs that foster a highly engaged and inspiring workplace.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify leading trends and best practices for designing employee focused programs across all HR disciplines and prioritize industry best practices
  • Support the development and execution of Employee Experience programs/projects (Performance Management, Recognition & Rewards, Employer Branding, Alumni Program, HCM Conversion, Engagement, etc.)
  • Support members of the project team(s) by effectively communicating and managing timelines, expectations and unexpected challenges
  • Facilitate project post mortems and create recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Provide high-level analysis to measure ongoing progress and success of new or evolved Employee Experience programs
  • Create dynamic presentations for conveying messages to internal partners or leadership for Employee Experience programs and/or evolving long-term strategy.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree / Diploma in Human Resources required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Minimum 2 years of HR program development/support experience required)
  • Diverse and multifaceted experience across all HR disciplines
  • Strong technical aptitude with HR systems / platforms (e.g., Performance Management, Recognition, Recruitment, HCM, etc.)
  • Strong data analytics/reporting capability
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • CHRL designation considered an asset
