Position Summary: 
As our Service Technician, you will provide technical expertise and guidance for warranty and non-warranty related service requests for NAS equipment. They are responsible for providing rapid and efficient technical support to representatives and customers of the company's distribution network through installation, start-up and operation.  
   
Position Responsibilities:  
  • Telephone and e-mail support to provide customers with information necessary to operate their NAS products and systems.
  • Work in close collaboration with all departments of the organization;
  • Answer application, service or product questions from the company's sales network with the aim of quickly, efficiently and structurally resolving problems encountered as well as implementing troubleshooting practices at a distance;
  • Resolve warranty and service charge issues according to pre-established guidelines;
  • Collect, document, analyze and communicate feedback from the company's sales network as well as follow up on cases;
  • Write and issue technical bulletins intended for representatives;
  • Participates in the planning and coordination of field work to be completed by internal team or external team;
  • Actively collaborates in the development of continuous improvement
  • Prepare internal and external training material
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  
   
Requirements:  
   
  • 3-5 years experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, wiring diagrams and manuals.
  • Ability to stay on project through root cause analysis.
  • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed internal and external customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly and coordinating with outside technicians.
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
  • Post high school courses in electrical or mechanical training. Technical college or 10 plus years’ experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Have a good knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,);
  • Having a good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Axapta and Microsoft CRM will be considered an asset;
