Position Summary:  
The Operations Manager will focus on our Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Production. You will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient production, timely procurement of materials, and seamless supply chain management.  
  
  
Position Responsibilities:  
  
1. Supply Chain Management:  
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw material while maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain performance metrics such as lead times, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
2. Purchasing  
  • Mentor the purchasing team in sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues promptly.
3. Production Management  
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
4. Team Leadership  
  • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, and regularly review performance to drive results and professional development.
  • Promote a positive work environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  
Requirements:  
  • Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on supply chain, purchasing, and/or production within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and production planning.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and negation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant software tools.
