About the Role:

Noodle’s Solutions Architecture team leads the delivery of the NoodleStack, a suite of best-in-class technologies and services, to our university partners. Delivery of the NoodleStack in each of Noodle’s geographic regions is led by a Director of Solutions Architecture. The Solutions Manager for Admissions supports those directors by providing expertise, system oversight, and implementation guidance on Noodle’s critical admissions technologies, particularly Technolutions Slate and Salesforce. This role will interact directly with university partners within an assigned region of schools regularly and within the broader network of Noodle schools occasionally to resolve particularly difficult integration issues. 


As our Solutions Manager (Admissions), you will: 

Admissions Technology Expertise

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on admissions technologies, particularly Technolutions Slate, and serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting integration, permission, and front-end experience issues
  • Document the configuration and integration specifics from every connection Noodle builds with a university partner’s admissions platform
  • Triage support desk issues related to the configuration, integrations, and permissions that Noodle has created with university partner’s admissions platforms
  • Continually improve the best practices for admissions platform data extraction by working with Noodle’s data warehouse team to match data types and fields, improve delivery cadence, and reduce opportunities for data loss during
  • Collaborate with Noodle’s Marketing and Enrollment Teams on best practices for using a university partner’s admissions platform for email marketing, event scheduling, and ad hoc reporting
    • Intake, scope, and prioritize projects relating to admissions platforms by working with Noodle stakeholders to understand requirements, build project plans and prepare timelines prior to deployment
    • Advise Solutions Directors on how to handle atypical requests made by university partners relating to admissions platforms
  • Serve as System Administrator for Noodle’s sandbox installation of Technolutions Slate

Regional Solutions Support

  • Support a region of schools in the implementation of the NoodleStack by tracking project deliverables, documenting implementation details, and coordinating with internal technical groups 
  • Complete and maintain documentation on the university systems integrated to Noodle systems, including the types and formats of the data exchanged and underlying business logic 
  • Triage support desk tickets escalated to the Solutions Architecture department, assigning tickets to the appropriate resource for resolution
  • Manage access to university systems for Noodle colleagues and provider partners
  • Identify best practices of our university implementations, ensuring excellence is consistent and design is replicable

You have:

  • Technical savvy that can intuit software functionality. Direct experience with admissions platforms and CRMs, preferably with Technolutions Slate and Salesforce
  • Experience configuring platform data extraction using SQL
  • A deep understanding of technical concepts such as systems integration, user authentication, data transformation and analysis
  • Passion for education and creating compelling online learning experiences
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Team-oriented outlook with an ability to develop working relationships 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  
  • A strong track record of hitting goals  
  • 4-5 years of experience in educational technology, project coordination, and/or software implementation/configuration
