The Learning Project Manager (LPM) is part of a larger team tasked with creating exceptional learning experiences that result in 100% graduation for learners. They support Noodle’s vision for exceptional online learning by managing an assigned Regional Project Portfolio, to ensure project efficiency through targeted support for their assigned Project Director. The LPM collaborates with provider project managers to ensure course builds are accomplished on time and on budget. In some cases, the LPM may directly manage course builds and related projects. 

This position can be Contract or Full-Time. 

As our Learning Project Manager you will: 

  • Develop the Statement of Work with the design provider that details the scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics for the engagement.
  • Ensure that all the relevant project stakeholders are aware of the timeline and dependencies and are working toward common goals; 
  • Create the project schedule for use by the Program team to ensure the courses are built on time 
  • Monitor the timeliness of the work milestones to ensure that the scope is completed on time. 
  • Manage your assigned invoicing, billing and budget so that courses do not exceed the budgeted amount allocated for development.
  • Maintain documentation on assigned program portfolios including the program project plans, contracts, and confluence repositories.
  • Manage project access to assigned project schedules.
  • Provide weekly status reporting to your assigned project director on the progress of your region's projects.

You have competency in the following:

Project Management

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the team – update and adapt to changes as needed
  • Develop, manage and communicate project expectations 
  • Prioritize requests and escalate as required to Project Director
  • Identify and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Conduct project post mortems and creating recommendation reports

Stakeholder Management

  • Effectively build and manage relationships with internal Program Design Teams for your assigned territory; act as the relationship manager for Learning Operations on those programs and leverage the relationship to assist with maintaining efficient operational processes
  • Matrix manage internal partners responsible for other operational areas associated with the program (e.g. marketing and solutions)

Reporting, Budgeting & Revenue/Invoice Reconciliation

  • Compile various reports, PPT's and other materials for reporting program information to the Head of Learning Operations and/or Finance
  • Provide financial oversight in the tracking of program budgets, including but not limited to reconciliation, reporting, and understanding of variances

You have:

  • Education:
    • Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) preferred and/or experience in general operations management
    • Bachelor’s (Required)
  • Experience: 
    • Project managing: 3 years (required)
    • Budgeting and scope of work development: 3 years (preferred)
    • Vendor management: 1 years (preferred)
    • Curricular instruction or development: 1 years (preferred)
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Self-starter, able to work autonomously
    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability 
    • Demonstrated attention to detail e.g. quality assurance
    • Flexibility, versatility, and comfort with change management
    • Strong facilitation skills
    • Strong project management and planning skills in order to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Demonstrated proficiency in managing across multi-functional departments to include solutions architecture, marketing, and student affairs
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
