Noble is Chicago’s highest-performing and largest network of public charter high schools. Our 18 schools and 1,400 employees currently serve over 12,300 students, 98% of whom are students of color, 89% low-income, and 83% first-generation college goers. The School Quality and Rating Policy scores for the Chicago Public Schools rated Noble campuses as ten of the top fifteen public high schools in the city. Overview of the Executive Assistant to the CEO Role

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide strategic day-to-day support around the CEO’s work with high-level internal and external partners. The Executive Assistant must naturally operate well in a fast-paced environment and always maintain the highest standard of professionalism and customer service given the magnitude of the relationships they will support the CEO in cultivating. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior experience as an executive assistant who seeks to make an impact on education in Chicago through a dynamic nonprofit organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s workflow and priorities by handling her calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings, and managing her inbox
  • Prepare for and follow-up on meetings with key stakeholders through research, material creation, briefings, confirmation of meeting details, etc.
  • Anticipate and track critical dates, events and organizational issues for the CEO; follow up with appropriate parties to ensure deadlines are met
  • Serve as liaison between CEO and internal and external stakeholders
  • Draft error-free correspondence to critical stakeholders
  • Gather and provide information to the CEO; keep the CEO informed of all matters requiring their attention
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve efficiency
  • Arrange travel plans and complete expense reports
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal databases with meeting notes
  • Manage special projects as needed
  • Experience and performance will dictate additional scope of role

  • Highly motivated and takes initiative to anticipate the needs of the CEO
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive organization information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Drive
