Project Manager

NNG is looking for a Project Manager to join the Program Management Team based in Budapest. You are the ideal candidate if you have good experience in, and like to feel ownership and responsibility for, aligning multiple teams and people to deliver projects successfully. You are able to understand customers and their needs, and to translate them into executable plans that will be committed, tracked and delivered. You have experience with different project management methodologies and are able to apply them effectively, and you are familiar with systems and tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project and Power BI.
What would be your responsibilities?
- Establish good working relationships with all project stakeholders, both internally at NNG and externally with customers and suppliers.
- Understand the project requirements and create and agree plans, both technical and resource, for how to deliver them.
- Setup and run meetings to ensure status, actions, responsibilities and timings are aligned, committed and delivered.
- Lead the team members in making sure the project documents, processes and templates are understood, filled out and followed.
- Able to identify risks early, raise issues appropriately, and facilitate mitigations/solutions to keep projects on track.
- Measure and give visibility for the project's perfomance for both budget and execution.
- Support the sales team with actions to identify, quote and win new business.
- Feel encouraged and empowered to drive improvements across the business.
What You Need to Know/Have:
- Strong ability to facilitate complex problem-solving and keep initiatives on track.
- Broad knowledge of various project management methodologies, including Agile practices and traditional project management with an understanding of when to apply different processes effectively.
- Skilled at identifying dependencies, gaps, and challenges, and managing resolutions.
- Familiarity with Agile and engineering tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence,).
- Proactive and positive attitude focused on delivering results and value, with the ability to lead others in staying positive yet realistic in challenging situations.
- Strong analytical skills who uses data to inform and justify decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Able to lead people with proven skills in motivating and influencing cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate should possess the following
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ Project Management experience. A college/university degree is required.
Language Skills: Fluency in English; knowledge of a second language is an advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Task management tools (Jira, Teamwork, Trello, etc.), Collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, etc.), MS office SWs (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI (or other data visualization)
Interpersonal Skills: Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive. Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric attitude. Flexible and a good team player.
Moreover, you have any of the following
Familiarity with the automotive industry
Knowledge of IT, AI or technical fields
General knowledge of GPS navigation systems
