The Release Manager (RM) is a senior manager who actively participates in the evaluation of project requests to ensure the feasibility of the agreed delivery dates. The role is the first point of escalation for internal and external partners regarding delivery issues and responsible for managing dependencies between internal and external teams on a day-to-day basis and for dedicated events in relation to content roadmap/delivery. 
 
Your main tasks include, among others: 
Maintains and tracks the release plan and the related tooling 
  • Analyze and resolve risks and dependencies
  • Communicate with the release stakeholders and create reports about release status
  • Define the scope of the release based on the input from the product organization
  • Formalize proactive discussions with Engineering Managers about upcoming resource availability and needs
Facilitate the release itself with the relevant delivery teams 
  • Document and communicate the release through the release notes
  • Ensure that key performance, engineering process and SW quality indicators are monitored, evaluated and appropriate actions are executed
  • Distribute the release to all stakeholders
Own the associated release process 
 
 
Requirements 
 
If you want to be the next Release Manager you must fulfill the following requirements: 
  • Experience and solid knowledge of agile software development
  • Product owner hands-on experience
  • Strong command of English and fluent Hungarian 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quality-oriented attitude
  • A high-level of independence and pro-activity
  • Flexibility and adaptability
