What will you do?
System Requirements Technical Product Ownership for Assigned Program:
- Develop system functional/performance specifications based on customer and stakeholder requirements, ensuring clarity and precision in defining product needs.
- Lead the SRS requirements and traceability process throughout design, development, and testing phases, employing a test-driven approach for product development.
- Develop and execute requirements baseline management processes for projects, ensuring accountability for requirements metrics targets.
- Stay abreast of relevant Federal Standards, industry benchmarks, and internal guidelines to ensure compliance in resulting designs.
- Document and manage product requirement exceptions, identifying and addressing associated risks in new feature development.
- Drive reuse initiatives by developing reusable internal requirements and identifying opportunities for design synergy.
- Facilitate problem-solving and lessons learned sessions for assigned programs/domains.
Stakeholder (CPM / Customer) Management:
- Generate Requirements Analysis Reports (RAR) for new spec package deliveries, supporting sales activities by analyzing customer RFQ specifications and providing technical impact analysis.
- Serve as the Customer Program Management (CPM) focal point for Requirements Engineering Technical topics, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain a master document list and organized repository of customer and third-party requirements specifications.
Change Request Requirements Management:
- Conduct impact analysis on change requests and communicate results to relevant stakeholders, overseeing implementation once approved.
- Manage change control processes for the project requirements database, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements Open Issues Management:
- Capture and prioritize issues arising from requirements development and downstream activities, collaborating with Functional Owners and stakeholders to drive resolution.
Process/Tools:
- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements, making recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop requirements strategies for assigned programs/domains in compliance with ASPICE guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE level 3 standards.
What kind of experience will you need?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Background in automotive engineering with a solid understanding of vehicle networking protocols.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Requirements Management tools, preferably DOORS and/or DNG.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of producing clear and concise documentation.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
- Proficient in conducting detailed reviews of complex technical specifications.
- Practical experience in areas related to system design, hardware/software design, and real-time embedded applications.

- Proactive decision-making and strategic thinker.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience developing engineering processes.
- Project management experience required.
- ASPICE knowledge beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Project.
