POSITION: Financial Analyst - AIMSS (Contingent Upon Contract Award

Location: Huntsville, AL

Clearance: Secret

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide financial analysis support for the Missile Defense Agency
Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to program management and government customers
Track expenses and revenues in comparison to the established budget; reforecast and analyze trends
Coordinate financial questions/answers among program management, CFO, and contract staff
Develop and maintain accurate budget and forecasting data and reports
Develop and maintain accurate CLIN, BOM, labor category, charge code, timecard, expense and other associated data in accordance with data and tool standards
Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the program as needed
Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Business required
Minimum of 5-years’ experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.
Experience supporting federal contracts required
Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and calculations;
Experience with cost estimating and forecasting;
Familiarity and experience with large government programs is desired;
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities;
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Experience operating in complex professional environments with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple organizations;
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in support of customer requirements;
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication and presentation skills;
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential and classified information;
Strong experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Intuit, or other major financial software
