Position: SharePoint System Administrator
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Clearance: Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities:
- Performs site and site collection configuration, administration, support, and maintenance for testing, production and disaster recovery SharePoint environments
- Provides Tier III support to the Integrated Service Desk and Tier III Support Specialists for incidents and problems related to SharePoint sites and site collections; ensures expedient resolution and high customer satisfaction
- Ensures sites and site collections are configured in compliance with DISA IAVA mandates and Microsoft configuration standards.
- Manages site and site collection features and site quotas.
- Manage user permissions for SharePoint sites and Web Applications, as required.
- Ensures compliance with internal governance policies, information architecture and all other organizational policies where applicable.
- Supports SharePoint Site Managers in the use of: e.g. web part pages, web part configuration, built-in lists and document libraries, custom lists and libraries, InfoPath forms, workflows, etc.
- Create and configure MS Azure Virtual Machines and utilize\restore snapshots, as required.
- Manage SharePoint projects and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Design, develop, and manage SharePoint sites to facilitate resource sharing and collaboration.
- Create, design, implement, operate, maintain and optimize databases, database components (e.g. tables, indexes, procedures, queries/views, maintenance plans, etc.) within Azure SQL.
- Develop skills in deployment of custom SharePoint solutions and develop skillsets learned in troubleshooting during scheduled maintenance windows.
- Support vendor provided updates for SharePoint, SQL Server, Office Online Server, Workflow Manager, Operating Systems and Azure appliances.
- Ensure health of Azure SQL Server databases and perform routine backups per Microsoft recommendations.
- Create new database instance and migrate existing instances, as required.
- Review\analyze applicable log files and manage Azure SQL Server storage requirements
- Analyze, monitor, and troubleshoot hourly, daily, and weekly resource loads of Production, DR\COOP and staging environments.
- Ensure health of Azure SQL Server databases and perform routine backups per Microsoft recommendations.
- High level understanding of PowerShell scripting and Azure SQL scripting.
- Good understanding of Azure SQL and O365 Technology.
- Excellent understanding of SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and \or SharePoint Online platforms.
- Performs other related assignments, as required.
Relevant Certification:
- CompTIA Security+ Required
- MS Teams related certification(s)
- MS O365 related certification(s)
- MS SharePoint Server 2016, 2019, or SharePoint Online Certification(s)
- Azure SQL Certification(s)
Requirements:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- At least 4 years of SharePoint site/site collection administration and maintenance experience;
- Experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016 technologies. SharePoint 2019 and\or SharePoint Online preferred.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members.
- Must be able to actively work projects and collaborate with team members in a remote setting.
* Salary range is 95 - 120,000 per year based on experience.
