NMR Consulting is seeking a Program Manager who will work closely with a Department of Defense client to create innovative analytical processes, statistical approaches, data visualizations, and models. The successful candidate will lead a small team of data scientists, architects, application developers, and analysts to help our client make their data more relevant to their decision cycle. Some travel is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the government’s point of contact and to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel in support of a data analytic services contract
  • Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the contract statement of work to include both technical issues and business processes.
  • Supervise ongoing technical efforts and manage overall contract performance
  • Make decisions in response to issues, concerns or problems
  • Respond to government stakeholder questions, concerns and comments as well as be proactive in providing alerts to potential contract or program issues
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines and deliverables
  • Communicate schedules and ensure deadlines are met
  • Run weekly project status meetings; track status of issues and identify risks
  • Create culture of innovation, communication and transparency

Relevant Certification:

  • PMP Program Management Professional (desired)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT or five (5) years of experience in IT and a Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a project manager or a program manager
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies required, with experience transitioning a program from Waterfall to Agile methodologies desired
  • Experience in data analytics, including experience with technical analysis, data integration, dashboard design, dashboard creation, and dashboard display.
  • Experience providing decision and strategy development support
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Five (5) years of experience in data analytics, including proven experience with technical analysis, task planning and management, data integration, dashboard design, dashboard creation, and dashboard display
  • Experience with Qlik (including Qlik Sense, Qlik Data Catalog, Qlik NPrinting, and Qlik GeoAnalytics) strongly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and/or Salesforce desired
  • Experience with Documentum and/or STARLIMS is a plus
  • Experience advising CDO/CTO/CIO-level stakeholders
