Position: Audio/Visual Technician III
Location: Huntsville, AL
Sign-on bonus: $5,000
Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance; active TS or TS/SCI preferred

Responsibilities:
• Maintain Audio/video and conferencing-unique hardware, software, and peripherals. (e.g., Projection Equipment, Flat Panel Displays, Audio DSPs, Control system processors and Touchpanels, TelePresence CODECs, etc.).
• Must have the ability to be able to follow signal flow schematics/diagrams for installation and O&M Maintenance
• Provide A/V operational and VTC facilitation support.
• Utilize the existing incident management tracking tool (e.g., Remedy) for all related maintenance activities.
• Maintain A/V equipment per Information Assurance guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve collaboration and business application incidents.
• Provide preventative maintenance services in accordance with the agency’s Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services program and utilizing the manufacturer’s recommended preventative maintenance schedules and SOPs.
• Execute configuration management plans, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain collaboration systems and all associated VTC peripheral equipment associated with temporary venues such as auditoriums, future operations/control centers and Collaboration Event Venues, Set up, configure and operate all associated peripheral equipment to successfully execute video conferencing and/or collaboration events.
• Remain current with advancing technologies and provide recommendations for new technologies, including technology refresh, to the Government.
• Prepare, review, coordinate, update, and submit DOD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) supporting documentation.
Relevant Certification:
• CEDIA Certification a plus
• CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D Certification a plus
• AMX ACE a plus
Requirements:
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• High School Diploma required
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• 5+ years experience in the Audio Visual industry
• Be a team leader and possess excellent leadership qualities
• Must possess an extremely meticulous and organized working style and have an ability to work as part of a team.
• Must possess the following skills: in-depth knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance, scheduling and support of Audio/Visual Equipment, desktop and conference room VTC systems, and Video Projection/Production Equipment in a secure government or military environment. Including:
o Video projection and Display Equipment.
o Digital Video processing and transport Equipment.
o Audio equipment including Microphones, Amplifiers, Speakers and Digital Signal Processors.
o Control System processors and User Interfaces.
• Working knowledge of AV concepts such as acoustics, lighting, aspect ratios, font size versus distance, scan rates, video standards and digital and analog transmission systems.
• Working knowledge of TEMPEST standards and IA concerns for multi-classification multimedia systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills experience.
• Expertise with Computer aided drawing program such as Autocad(Prefered) or Visio.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office products required.
• Experience with Tandberg/Cisco systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Control system installation and programming (AMX and/or Extron).
• Experience with lighting and shade systems installation (programming a plus).
• Knowledge and experience with computer network configuration.
• Understanding electrical current (a plus).

Salary range $70,000-80,000
